Chewbacca is made from a POTJ Chewie head, chest, pelvis, and legs; and a combination of Chewie as Boushh's bounty arms and Grinch arms. I boiled and popped all parts. I cut the Chewie arms off at the upper arms, then carefully dremelled them out. I then cut the Grinch arms off just above the articulation and filed down the arm to fit into the hollow socket I made in the Chewie arms.
I cut off the hands from Chewie and hollowed out the forearms with my dremel creating a sorta "gauntlet" looking forarms. I filed down the Grinch forarms so that the Chewie "gauntlet" forearms would fit over them (I removed the Grinch hands when I boiled and popped the parts). I glued the Grinch's fingers together and cut the tips of them off. Once the glue dried on the hand and arms, I used Sculpey to blend all the pieces together and create longer "fur" on the hands to hide the fingers.
Once the Sculpey cured I painted the arms brown and dry brushed them and the upper chest with grey to match the shoulders of Chewie as Boushh's bounty. I then put all the pieces together. I finished it off with a couple of coats of Testor's Dull Coat. This helps keep the paint from peeling off the arms when the bend. I also cut the "thing" off the stock of Chewie's bowcaster so it looks truer to the films.
